A Space to Convene

"Discussion is an exchange of knowledge; an argument an exchange of ignorance."
- Robert Quillen

Welcome!

Nous Savons ℠ is about understanding how institutional know-how (intellectual capital) is leveraged to meet organizational goals. This includes everything from the flow of information and barriers impeding that flow, to negligence due to short-sighted decision making and a failure to pivot as an organization’s operational and competitive environments change.
This website is intended to develop into a space to discuss knowledge management and to share experiences – successes, failures, and lessons learned – within a community of interest. The goal is not to tell people what to do, but to help them think about how they can succeed in the knowledge economy.
Also, about the site's name: The phrase “nous savons” means “we know” in French.

A word from the founder and owner

Hi, I'm Andre. I founded Nous Savons, LLC because KM should not be an exclusive club for top executives or fancy consulting firms. A person's pedigree or connections are not infallible indications of their value add to an organization. Somehow, somewhere, that seems to have been forgotten by some KM practitioners.
I've worked in the IT field (more on the business side) for over ten years, and for what it's worth, here is my education:
    • Master of Science in Information and Knowledge Strategy (Columbia University, School of Professional Studies)
    • Master of Business Administration (Keller Graduate School of Management, DeVry University)
    • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (DeVry University)
